The Radiofrequency (RF) energy that is used in the Morpheus8 treatment is a scientifically proven method to remodel and rebuild collagen. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.

Morpheus8 is indicated for treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, pore size reduction, overall skin concerns, face and body remodeling in areas such as the abdomen, thighs, flanks and buttocks.

2-3 weeks prior to treatment:

Use sunscreen on the treatment area. Sunburned or tanned skin may be more sensitive, but also pose risk for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

1-2 weeks prior to treatment:

Avoid treatments that may irritate the skin for 1-2 weeks prior to treatment.

No self tanner on treatment area 1 week prior to treatment.

1-3 days prior to treatment:

Discontinue any irritation topical argents for 2-3 days prior to treatment such as AHA, BHA, Retinol.

Please refrain from wearing makeup on the treated area day of treatment.

Most people tolerate Morpheus8 well. There is discomfort. You will be provided numbing cream before treatment to make it more comfortable.

The downtime after Morpheus8 varies from 1 to 5 days. Some redness, bruising, and swelling are to be expected after your treatment, and small scabs will form in the area treated. It is advised to not wear make up for the first 24-48 hours.

Visible results can be seen within a few days but are best noticeable after 6 weeks with improvements continuing up to 12 months after treatment.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding

Individuals with an electronic implant, such as a glucose monitor, pacemaker or defibrillator, or a permanent implant in the treatment area

Cancer or history of cancer

Immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV or use of immunosuppressive medications

Heart disease, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, and liver or kidney disease

Herpes simplex in the treatment area

Active ulcers, psoriasis, eczema or rashes

Keloid scars, wounds, and very dry skin

Uncontrolled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction

24 hours post treatment:

If required, use gentle cold compresses post treatment to reduce swelling / inflammation.

Use gentle cleanser and moisturiser to keep the treatment area clean and hydrated.

Avoid perfumed creams or moisturiser for 2-3 days.

1-3 days post treatment:

Avoid heat inducing activities for 1-2 days post treatment (i.e., hot baths, massage, sauna, excessive sweating, strenuous exercise).

Makeup may not be worn for 24 hours after the procedure. If there are no areas with active oozing and warm redness, makeup maybe applied after this time.

5-7 days post treatment:

You may resume your usual skin care product but avoid stimulating active ingredients on the treatment areas for 5-7 days (i.e., AHA, BHA, Retinol).

Avoid direct sun exposure, and use zinc based broad spectrum sunscreen daily.

There may be some micro-crusts or scabs as your skin started to heal. Do not pick or pull at those micro-scabs (they will fall off naturally as skin cells turn over).
